Sibelco Parkhurst Expansion | 600T Silo Project
Client – Sibelco This project involved the relocation of 2 x 22 metre high silos from the Parkhurst North to Parkhurst plant. We erected perimeter scaffold to enable the dismantle of both silos in horizontal sections at the Parkhurst North plant and then re erected scaffolding at the Parkhurst Plant to enable reconstruction to differing heights, painting, blasting and commissioning. Project duration: Feb ’14 – August ’14 (7 months)
Teys Clarifier
Robson Civil was engaged by Teys Australia to construct a new concrete clarifier at their Lakes Creek plant and engaged BFB Scaffolding to provide access requirements for construction of the concrete structure. The FRP (Form, Reo, Pour) contractor, who had recently completed a similar project in Brisbane provided extremely positive feedback based on their past experience with scaffolding companies and commended BFB Scaffolding on site project supervision.
Crown Apartments, Mackay
Client: Polyseal Group The entire building needed recladding – BFB Scaffolding were engaged to provide full perimeter scaffolding, undertaken in two stages. 3300m2 total project area 200 tonnes of equipment on site. The building is located in CBD so some out of hours work was required to minimise disruption to surrounding businesses.
Bridge Work
BFB Scaffolding has extensive experience in providing access for under bridge work and on this particular project, utilised aluminium lattice beams to span the creek. BFB Scaffolding have earned a reputation for reliability and working to program requirements.
